If you have decided that you are ready to become a parent, you will need help to become the best you can. We can help to put you in touch with people that can help you to become the best parent you can.
It is perfectly normal to feel anxious or scared about what is to come. You may be unsure how to prepare. Don’t worry. There is no right or wrong way to do things. Most parents make mistakes at some time. Its how you learn to be a better parent.
Being a parent is challenging. If you are a teenage parent it can be more so. There are the financial constraints, finishing school, not being able to go out as much with your friends and missing out on the future you had planned for yourself.
If you are a single parent without a support network it will be twice as hard. It's not all bad though. Teenage mums can and do make good parents and many find it a positive experience.
You can also talk to the people below for support and advice on aspects such as antenatal care, parenting classes or becoming a Dad.
